Start inside the town before choosing a longer outing. A short circuit of the historic centre can be combined with time outside the walls. Follow marked public routes; neighbouring fields, vineyards and olive groves are not automatically open to visitors.
02The San Lorenzo ride
The tourist board lists San Lorenzo, route 617, as a 33 km loop beginning and ending in Sveti Lovreč, with both asphalt and gravel. Check the current route description, weather and surface conditions before riding. Choose a bicycle and distance suited to your ability.
03A separate chapter at Lim
Lim Bay offers a contrasting landscape for an excursion beyond the town. Treat it as a separate outing rather than part of a casual town walk. Use current directions and check access to your chosen viewpoint or activity.
04Leave room in the day
One walk or ride, one meal, one place to pause. Carry water, avoid overambitious plans in hot weather and check daylight for longer outings. The itinerary should fit you, not the other way around.
